Detoxin'

Yesterday I started a detox. And today, man, do I feel GREAT!! I have so much more energy and just feel healthier. The whole reason why I started this detox was because I was eating so much unhealthy foods and sweets the last couple of months (holiday weight). I really felt disgusting about what I was putting into my body and felt that I need a cleanse. Sometimes I can just read the signs my body is giving me and I know its time to change my diet. I did a raw detox last year and it was awesome. My skin looked amazing! However, it was much harder for me to stay on the raw detox. So this time I researched a bunch of different detoxes and pretty much put them all together and customized one that I know for sure would work for me. And I feel like I'll be able to sustain this detox longer than the raw detox.

I'm just going to outline the basis of my detox and below will be a few websites for resources.

Thanksgiving

The Eye,
still thinking about you.
Go figure it's cold tonight,
feeling you in the air -
the evening frost.
Trying to remember
your Mayan scripture tattoos
on your forearm;
I understand it now,
understand it all.
See you in the stars, Eye.

I would love some criticism on this one. This poem and person really means a lot to me.
